DRAMATISED VISITS TO THE PERMANENT EXHIBITION
This autumn they return to the museum
From October to December 2025
Sundays at 12:00h
In the MARQ you can get to know the museum through two characters from different periods, Piraltide and Ibn al-Marq. Piraltide is a young Roman slave girl who lived in Lucentum between the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD and about whom almost everything is unknown, except that she lived for 27 years and to whom her companion Hermeros dedicated a funerary inscription preserved in the MARQ. Ibn al-Marq brings to life a fictitious male character from the Islamic period, full of wit and good humour. Both will accompany us, for about an hour, through the halls of the museum to show us the permanent archaeological collection of the MARQ from Prehistory to the Middle Ages.
