TEMPORAL EXHIBITION

DÉNIA. ARQUEOLOGIA I MUSEU
Es una exposición fruto del Convenio de Colaboración suscrito entre la Fundación C.V. MARQ y el Ayuntamiento de Dénia, impulsada desde la Diputación de Alicante, a través del MARQ, Museo Arqueológico de Alicante y el MAD, Museu Arqueològic de la Ciutat de Dénia. La exposición cuenta con la colaboración de una decena de museos, archivos y fundaciones nacionales e internacionales que han prestado sus piezas con el fin de facilitar la contextualización histórica de la ciudad.
La muestra propone un recorrido desde las sorprendentes manifestaciones de arte rupestre de la cueva de la Catxupa, a yacimientos tan emblemáticos como el Alt de Benimaquia, uno de los centros vitivinicultores más antiguos de la Península. O la fundación de la ciudad romana de Dianium, trastocada en madīna Dāniya, puerto destacado del Mediterráneo islámico, hasta adentrarse en la Dénia contemporánea.
La exposición mostrará al visitante un impactante y novedoso discurso museográfico y de diseño, desde la dualidad MAR y TIERRA, elementos esenciales y complementarios que llenan de significado la historia de Dénia y su territorio.
