The Alicante Provincial Council has organised a full calendar of free activities and proposals for the next few months. Easter school holidays, from 22 to 25 April, through museums MARQ and MUBAG. In addition, on Friday 18 April, the Fundación CV MARQ will be holding the World Day for Monuments and Sites with open days at the sites of La Illeta in El Campello and Lucentum in Albufereta, and at the monument of the Almudaina Almohad Tower.
Animated visits and didactic workshops related to the exhibition 'Cities of Light' are some of the activities programmed by the CV MARQ Foundationthrough its Didactics, Accessibility, Club Llumiq and Social Responsibility Unit, for the upcoming school holidays. There are four workshops and they will consist of a visit to a room at 10:30 am and the elaboration of different handicrafts at 11:30 am:
Tuesday, 22 April: Roman coin workshop

Thursday, 24 April: Mosaic workshop
Friday, 25 April: Gladiator shield workshop
The capacity of these proposals, aimed at children between 6 and 12 years of age, is limited and the free registration can be made at the MARQ ticket offices. Interested parties can also consult all the information at marqalicante.com.
In addition, the Wednesday 23 April the museum will host the traditional children's beauties' day of conviviality organised by the Management Commission of the Sant Joan Bonfires Federation and the CV MARQ Foundationin preparation for the election of the Bellesa i Dames d'Honor Infantil 2025. The visit will include a guided tour of the rooms, an educational workshop and a treasure hunt specially prepared for them.
Also the Gravina Fine Arts Museum, MUBAG, has designed a special programme for these days with activities for children, families and for all audiences which will be held from Tuesday to Friday afternoons.

World Day for Monuments and Sites
On the other hand, the MARQ CV Foundation has organised a open day to commemorate the International Day for Monuments and Sites. In this way, and coinciding with the celebration of Good Friday, the Illeta dels Banyets and the Tossal de Manisses-Lucentum free admission will be from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, while the Almudaina Almohad Tower will be open to the public from 10:00 to 13:00.
