Sector 4C of La Alcudia (Elche, Alicante)

The archaeological project at La Alcudia included the excavation to the south and the museumisation of the area known as the "Iberian houses", where the levels of a broad sequence of occupation were located in the 1960s and 1970s. The 2011 excavation clarified the traditional stratigraphic readings and showed new interpretative guidelines, analysing a stratigraphic set dated from Iberian levels to the presence of Islam.
