M.A.R. and new technologies
The Regional Archaeological Museum (M.A.R.) is the cultural institution to which the Community of Madrid has entrusted the custody of its cultural heritage and the promotion of archaeological research among the public. This new museum, in addition to carrying out the tasks inherent to these institutions, conserving, exhibiting and disseminating, in this case, the region's archaeological heritage, gives special importance to its research section. The M.A.R. team is very favourable to the use of new technologies in order to contribute to a better understanding of the proposed discourse, opting for a reasonable eclecticism that studies the needs and convenience of each project on a case-by-case basis.
