MARQ is not just a museum but is a multi-use and versatile venue. The redevelopment of the museum building has provided it with adaptable spaces which offer companies and institutions a range of services and facilities. It is a perfect venue to hold all types of events such as conferences, meetings and presentations. A full range of services and infrastructures are available as well as fully equipped function rooms which contain everything needed to guarantee the success of any event.

These events include congresses and conventions, seminars, conferences, team building days, business meetings and professional gatherings, press conferences, presentations, workshops and social events….

Conference hall
                                                                                                                                             

The Conference Hall is more than 300 m² and has a capacity for 200 people seated. It is a comfortable and welcoming space, equipped with state of the art audiovisual systems (cabins for simultaneous translations, audio and video systems, etc…) which make it an ideal venue for holding conferences, conventions, congresses, product launches, press conferences and presentations etc…. The room’s modern design allows it to be personalised with a company or institution’s logo or image, making it adaptable for all types of events.

Garden
                                                                                                                                                    

The privileged climate of Alicante enables events to be held outside practically the whole year round. MARQ has a large and attractive garden which will enhance any type of social or business event. The garden area is nearly 2,500 m² and is large enough to erect marquees to celebrate wine receptions and tastings, dinners, exhibitions, concerts and recitals.

MARQ has an Education Room available for all types of didactic activities. This is where the museum’s archaeology workshops and didactic programmes are carried out. Didactic guides are also available which are complemented by work-sheets to develop educational activities around the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions.


 Library
                                                                                                                                        

 
MARQ has a magnificent library which specializes in European archaeological publications, magazines and books and archaeological and scientific monographs. It is a cultural space, ideal for book launches and signings, talks, discussions and debates. 


Multi-use rooms
                                                                                                                                       

MARQ has three multi-use rooms. The capacity of these three rooms together is similar to that of the Conference Hall. They consist of open spaces that can be adapted to any type of event and can be equipped with a variety of facilities to conveniently and effectively host such events as conventions, meetings, courses etc…. 


Meeting rooms
                                                                                                                                      


This space has a capacity for 25 to 30 people – depending on the layout – and has a public address system with individual microphones. It is a perfect venue for all types of meetings, prize jury deliberations, shareholder meetings, etc… It is a flexible and easily adaptable space to meet the various needs of the user.
