The CV MARQ Foundation is once again organising a week of activities to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which will be celebrated on 3 December all over the world. Every year and through the Didactics, Accessibility, Club Llumiq and Social Responsibility Unit of the MARQ Foundation we join in this commemoration with a firm commitment: to make the MARQ an inclusive, accessible space open to all audiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n From Saturday 29 November<\/strong> and during the days 30 November and 1, 2, 3 and 5 December,<\/strong> MARQ will be filled with activities designed to enjoy, learn and share culture without barriers. Because an inclusive museum is not only accessible, it is a place where everyone feels part of history.<\/p>\n Every 3 December, the world comes together to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a date that reminds us of the importance of promoting the rights, participation and well-being of all people, fostering a fairer and more equal society.<\/p>\n The programme of activities planned at the Museo Arqueol\u00f3gico de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante is as follows:<\/p>\n Saturday 29 November, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Empower Parents Programme. <\/strong>Cultural mediation session for families with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in collaboration with ASPALI, <\/strong>in which we will explore the Iberian Culture<\/strong> of the MARQ, we will solve the enigmas of the Mystery Box<\/strong> and enjoy participatory workshops full of discoveries.<\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> ASPALI, Asperger's Association of Alicante<\/p>\n In the afternoon, from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. <\/strong><\/p>\n Animated visit and workshop \"Ocu's talent\".<\/strong>a character that will transport us to the Prehistory<\/strong> through a fascinating story. Afterwards, we will become real cave artists creating our own prehistoric paintings.<\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> ASPANION, Asociaci\u00f3n de Padres de Ni\u00f1os con C\u00e1ncer (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer)<\/p>\n Sunday 30 November, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Guided visit to the exhibition \"D\u00e9nia. Archaeology and Museum\" exhibition. <\/strong>A sensory and accessible experience for the users of DOWN ALICANTE<\/strong><\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> DOWN Syndrome Association-ALICANTE<\/p>\n From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Guided tour in sign language. <\/strong>Discover the exhibition \"D\u00e9nia. Archaeology and Museum\" in Spanish Sign Language<\/strong> for users of APESOA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> Alicante Deaf People's Association<\/p>\n From 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Family archaeology workshop: <\/strong>Let's get to work!<\/strong> We will learn how archaeologists work by exploring caves, seabeds and ancient cities, and then we will go on to do our own excavation<\/strong> and discover the secrets of the past.<\/p>\n Activity recommended for families with children from 6 to 12 years old.<\/strong> Monday 2 December, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Programme<\/strong> \"Museum and Memory against Alzheimer's\". <\/strong>We will visit the Roman Culture<\/strong> together with AFA Alicante<\/strong>an activity to stimulate memory and emotions through the MARQ and history.<\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> Alzheimer's Association of Alicante<\/p>\n Tuesday 2 December, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Programme <\/strong>\"A fairytale hospital\": \"Medieval potters\" workshop. <\/strong>The little artists of the Dr. Balmis General University Hospital<\/strong> discover the art of modelling ceramics and create their own pieces inspired by the Middle Ages.<\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> Hospital Pedagogical Unit of the Alicante Hospital (UPH)<\/p>\n From 12:00 to 13:00<\/strong><\/p>\n Programme \"Back with a new History\". Talk \"Female patronage during the Renaissance\". <\/strong>A reflection on the role of women in the history of art.<\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> Fontcalent Penitentiary Institutions Centre of Alicante<\/p>\n Wednesday 3 December, from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n MARQ+65\" Programme. Talk \"MARQ's accessibility and social responsibility projects\". <\/strong>A meeting with ASAUTE users to share the museum's progress towards real and sustainable accessibility.<\/p>\n In collaboration with:<\/strong> Association Aulas de la Tercera Edad de Alicante (Alicante Senior Citizens' Association)<\/p>\n From 17:30 to 18:30<\/strong><\/p>\n Programme \"Guide for a day at MARQ\".<\/strong><\/p>\n Users of APSA<\/strong> become official museum guides, and on this occasion they will take us through the Sala de Iberian Culture<\/strong> of MARQ.
