The exhibition, which presents the succession of ancient cities that have shaped the present-day Alicante, thus faces its last month in the museum before closing on 7 September.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Through a tour of the three temporary halls and the MARQ Library, the exhibition offers a chronological narrative in which the public can learn about the history of the <strong>historical occupation of La Albufereta<\/strong>using as a backbone the <strong>Tossal de Manises archaeological site<\/strong>especially in the interval between the middle of the first millennium BC and the end of the first millennium AD.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With uninterrupted visiting hours in summer from 10:00 to 22:00 hours, from Tuesday to Saturday, and from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, on Sundays and public holidays, \"Cities of Light\" is a proposal promoted by the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante through the <strong>MARQ<\/strong> and the <strong>C.V. MARQ Foundation<\/strong>with the collaboration of the <strong>ASISA and La Caixa foundations<\/strong>. In addition, the exhibition includes the participation of <strong>thirty cultural organisations<\/strong> Spanish museums, archives and foundations, which have lent their materials to facilitate the contextualisation and understanding of the subject matter addressed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Cities of Light <strong>houses more than 660 pieces <\/strong>and is curated by <strong>Manuel Olcina<\/strong>director of MARQ; <strong>Rafael P\u00e9rez<\/strong>The exhibition was organised by the Director of the Architecture Department of the Provincial Council, and the excavation technicians of the Fundaci\u00f3n C.V.
