The Archaeological Museum of Alicante<\/strong> has programmed an open day at the sites and monuments belonging to the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante to celebrate tomorrow, Thursday, 18 April, the International Day for Monuments and Archaeological Sites<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n As the deputy for Culture explained, Juan de Dios Navarro<\/strong>The Provincial Council has once again joined this global initiative to raise awareness and promote the rich historical and monumental heritage that the province treasures\". The International Day for Monuments and Archaeological Sites, declared by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) with the approval of Unesco since 1984, is being celebrated this year around the world under the motto \"Disaster and conflict resilient heritage: preparedness, response and recovery\".<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n MARQ's proposal will be carried out in four locations. On the one hand, at the sites located in the region of L'Alacant\u00ed, that of La Illeta dels Banyets <\/strong>in El Campello and that of El Tossal de Manises Lucentum<\/strong> in Alicante, both at their usual opening hours, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:30 to 17:30. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n On the other hand, in the region of El Comtat, it will also be possible to visit, with free admission, the Almudaina Almohad Tower<\/strong>from 10:00 to 13:00 hours.
