A total of 280,682 people visited the exhibition 'The Legacy of the Qin and Han Dynasties, China. The Warriors of Xi'an'.<\/strong>becoming, with this record number<\/strong>in the most viewed in the history of the Alicante museum<\/strong>. The exhibition, which was inaugurated on 28 March 2023, said goodbye this weekend to MARQ, after ten months of exhibition, with two open days that have attracted more than 7,587 visitors<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Deputy for Culture, Juan de Dios Navarro<\/strong>He thanked the public for their response and highlighted the commitment of the Provincial Council and the Archaeological Museum of Alicante to \"first class international exhibitions such as The Warriors of Xi'an\". \"<\/span><\/span>These historical data confirm the Diputaci\u00f3n's support for a cultural project that is unique in the world.<\/span><\/span>\"He added. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Among those who were able to enjoy this international exhibition, which included more than a hundred pieces, among them an outstanding selection of 10 original terracotta sculptures - 9 warriors and 1 horse, <\/strong>highlight the 225,275 inhabitants of Alicante <\/strong>who came to the MARQ, followed in number by visitors from the rest of the country. Madrid<\/strong>with 7,125; Valencia<\/strong>with 6,263; Murcia<\/strong>with 5,944; Castilla-La Mancha<\/strong>with 3,448; Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong>with 2,195; Andalusia, <\/strong>with 2,038; and Catalonia<\/strong>with 1,217 people.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With regard to the origin of visitors from outside Spain, those coming from Europe lead the ranking -Great Britain<\/strong> (5,059 people), Eastern European countries <\/strong>(2.314), France<\/strong> (2.234); The Netherlands<\/strong> (1.974) y Nordic countries<\/strong> (1.839)-, followed by those of the American continent<\/strong> (3.567) y Asia<\/strong> (2.128). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

During the ten months that the exhibition has been open to the public, the MARQ Foundation's team of guides has carried out the following activities 3,470 guided passes<\/strong>of which 2,905 were in Spanish, 227 in English, 170 in Valencian and 76 in French. In addition, 2,905 were in Spanish, 92 passes have been concerted for schoolchildren and associations of vulnerable groups.<\/strong>adapted to their capacities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition has been seen by 100,408 people for free admission and 180,274 people for guided tours.<\/strong>. With regard to the dramatised visits, 90 visits have been carried out<\/strong>The exhibition has been shown in the exhibition hall, in which 1,776 people have enjoyed the details of the exhibition in this way. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The following have also participated 2,390 minors<\/strong>6 to 12 year olds, in the MARQ activities during holiday periods <\/strong>summer and Christmas, proposals programmed and organised by the Didactic Unit of the Fundaci\u00f3n CV MARQ.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Also noteworthy in the balance sheet are the 91,956 tickets that have been purchased through Instanticket<\/strong> -65,145 were guided visits and 26,811 were free visits.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
