The service of visits to the Interpretation Centre and the Cova de l'Or site in Beniarr\u00e9s is temporarily suspended until 16th March 2024. <\/strong>This site in the Benicadell mountain range is fundamental for understanding the Neolithic period on the Mediterranean coast of the Iberian Peninsula, and a visit to it is also an opportunity to enjoy the environmental and scenic heritage in which it is located.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Since its opening to the public in June 2021, it has received until last 12 November the <\/strong><\/span><\/span>visit of more than two thousand people<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Access to both the Interpretation Centre and the Cova de l'Or is limited to visits promoted by the Fundaci\u00f3n CV MARQ and the Beniarr\u00e9s Town Council with the aim of preserving the value of the historical legacy of the enclave converted into a Site Museum by the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n From the Interpretation Centre, the guided tour starts with a tour of <\/span><\/span><\/span>its interior and the projection of a video to contextualise the space and its surroundings. From there, the itinerary continues to <\/span>mini bus -vehicle included in the service offered <\/span><\/span><\/strong>to the start of the path leading to the site.
