The a<\/span><\/span>ctivities programmed by the Fundaci\u00f3n CV MARQ to celebrate the Christmas holidays have begun. this evening with the traditional lighting of the illumination in the museum gardens<\/strong>. The Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parra<\/strong>was responsible for switching on the Christmas tree lights and inaugurating the Museum's nativity scene.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Parra, who was accompanied by the deputy for Innovation and Digital Agenda, Juan de Dios Navarro<\/strong>The President of the MARQ, Mr. Jos\u00e9 Luis Rodr\u00edguez, highlighted \"the value of the MARQ as a first class cultural centre and also as a meeting place for the people of Alicante, who every year actively participate in the numerous programmes of activities organised, such as the one that begins today, focused above all on bringing the youngest members of the family closer to one of our main cultural strongholds\".<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Throughout today's afternoon, the following events will take place in the Museum's gardens activities to participate in as a family<\/strong>Among them, workshops, games such as the wishing well, the royal letterbox, ambient music and dances, as well as the chestnut stall and the presence of the MARQ mascot, Llumiq.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The programme for the Christmas holidays will feature two scenarios<\/strong>, the museum and the Exponadal fair in IFA<\/strong>. In the didactic classroom of MARQ. from 27 to 30 December and 3 January<\/strong> will be carried out workshops and games <\/strong>such as the mystery box, ornaments with ribbons, the stained glass windows of Saint Nicholas, the Christmas angel and a Christmas pop-up, among others. The space has a limited capacity of 25 participants. The programme is aimed at children aged 6 to 12. To participate, you must register at the Museum's ticket offices half an hour before the start of each activity.<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In addition, MARQ will also have its own space in the 27th Children's and Young People's Leisure Fair Exponadal at IFA<\/strong>which is being held this year 26 to 30 December and 2 to 4 January<\/strong>. There will be games, activities and workshops to promote the educational offer of MARQ and its archaeological sites. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
