The Fundaci\u00f3n CV MARQ joins the Qualitur Club de Turisme Comunitat Valenciana.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Qualitur Club is a group made up of tourism organisations in the Valencia Region that hold certificates in tourism quality management, accessibility and\/or the environment and that work to make our territory an increasingly sustainable, respectful and competitive destination.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Turisme, through Qualitur, promotes the culture of excellence with the aim of constantly and sustainably improving the services offered to visitors and tourists and making this the hallmark of tourism in the Valencia Region.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since June 2014, the CV MARQ Foundation has had the <\/span>SICTED distinction Tourism Quality Commitment in Destination,<\/span><\/strong> distinction awarded by Turespa\u00f1a, which recognises the commitment to tourism quality and continuous improvement. Likewise, in September 2018, as a result of this commitment to quality in tourism, it was certified in the <\/span>Standard UNE 302002:2018 Museums. Requirements for the provision of visitor services,<\/span><\/em> turning MARQ into the<\/span> first museum in Spain to obtain the Q for Tourism Quality<\/span><\/strong> awarded by the ICTE Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality with the collaboration of the Secretary of State for Tourism of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In November 2020, the VC Foundation achieved certification in the <\/span>UNE 170001-2:2007 Universal Accessibility Standard<\/span><\/em><\/strong>This shows its commitment to achieving \"a MARQ for everyone\". In this way, all visitors can enjoy the content and the wide range of activities on offer whatever their condition, as physical, sensory and cognitive access is facilitated for the visiting public. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In October 2021, we received the Premi Turisme 2021 from the Generalitat Valenciana, in the category of accessible and inclusive tourism.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of this work and firm commitment to quality in tourism, accessibility and sustainability, from culture and visitor services at the MARQ, the sites and monuments under its management, the Fundaci\u00f3n CV MARQ carries out its activities in a responsible manner and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, with the objective of achieving the<\/span><\/span> Improving the excellence of the tourism sector in the Valencia Region and promoting an excellent, sustainable, accessible, hospitable and egalitarian offer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
