The cultural centres of the Alicante Provincial Council<\/strong> have held a new edition of the International Museum Day<\/strong> with the visit of almost four thousand<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>people<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. The MARQ<\/strong>, the MUBAG and the Gil-Albert Institute<\/strong> have commemorated this anniversary with a wide-ranging programme of fun and educational activities for the whole family, including open days with free admission, workshops, games, competitions, guided and dramatised visits, among other proposals. <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Archaeological Museum of Alicante<\/strong> and the sites of Lucentum and the Illeta dels Banyets <\/strong>have <\/strong>reached the figure of 3,000 people<\/strong><\/span><\/span>On Saturday, the MARQ had more than a thousand visitors. It should be noted that the international exhibition dedicated to the gladiators has almost 20,000 visitors, while the museum has registered 57,000 visits so far this year. <\/span><\/span>In addition, the historical re-enactments, interpreted by the Association of Historical Reconstruction Hispania Romana<\/strong>were particularly well received by the public and brought together more than 350 people in the MARQ Gardens on Saturday 21st. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n For its part, <\/span><\/span>on Gravina Fine Arts Museum <\/strong>which, on the occasion of International Museum Day, has held the first guided tours<\/strong> to the recently opened permanent exhibition \"The 19th century.
