The Archaeological Museum of Alicante<\/strong> commemorates this Sunday 20 March<\/strong> on World Down Syndrome Day<\/strong> with a special programme of activities including a dance performance based on a song by the British singer\/songwriter Rick Astley<\/strong> and a workshop<\/strong> inspired by the international exhibition 'Etruscans<\/strong>.  The event, which is open to the general public, will start at 12:00 noon<\/strong> in the MARQ gardens<\/strong> with the interpretation of an original flashmob<\/em><\/strong> by a group of people with Down syndrome. The choreography has been designed by a group of young people who are part of Down Alicante's Dance and Movement Programme.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It will be followed by the workshop 'The Scroll of Vanth: The Story of an Etruscan Woman<\/strong>In this workshop, participants will make their own parchment and practise Etruscan writing. This didactic proposal, inspired by the exhibition Etruscans. The Dawn of Rome',<\/em> will also allow users to discover what life and customs were like for women in Etruscan society. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
