The international exhibition 'Etruscans<\/strong>. The part of the exhibition devoted to the world of beliefs, mainly made up of funerary pieces, includes works such as the urns of Ulysses<\/strong>, of the Sirens<\/strong> and of the Rape of Proserpina of Volterra<\/strong> or the male sarcophagus from the Rosavecchia necropolis in Tuscany<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The exhibition also incorporates graphic and didactic material<\/strong> which includes audiovisual projections and interactive tools<\/strong>. The original pieces are accompanied by images and explanatory texts based on rigorous scientific documentation. MARQ has also set up a web space<\/strong> with images and information on the most important objects and access to advance booking of tickets and guided tours.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n As a complement to the exhibition, 'Etruscan Traces in Alicante'.<\/strong> presents a set of 22 pieces that show the imprint of this ancient Italic culture on Alicante's territory.<\/strong> revealing the importance of rituals related to goldsmithing and wine in the Iberian period, which include objects from the MARQ and from the municipal museums of X\u00e0bia.<\/strong>, La Vila Joiosa and Guardamar del Segura<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Visits to the exhibition can be made freely or in groups.
