<\/strong>The Vice-President of the Provincial Council and Deputy for Culture, Julia Parra<\/strong>The Spanish Ministry of Health and Public Health has signed a collaboration agreement with the Councillor for Health and Public Health, Ana Barcel\u00f3<\/strong>with the aim of \"continuing to bring history and culture closer to people suffering from Alzheimer's and their relatives or carers, a practice that provides a great benefit to their quality of life thanks to the shared emotional experience, which favours social integration and increased self-esteem\".<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The CV-MARQ Foundation<\/strong> and the Behavioural Neurology and Dementias Unit of the Hospital de Sant Vicent del Raspeig <\/strong>will work together on this project for four years, during which time a programme of training, leisure, cultural and convivial activities <\/strong>for dementia patients and their families. Guided tours and educational workshops related to the permanent exhibition, archaeological sites and temporary exhibitions of the MARQ are included. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In addition, participants in the programme will be provided with learning resources<\/strong> aimed at creating memories through the contents offered by the chronological-cultural rooms of the museum, games<\/strong> reminiscent<\/strong>, guides<\/strong> didactics<\/strong>, stories<\/strong> to explain Alzheimer's disease, audiovisuals<\/strong> for educational purposes, etc. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The project also includes the organisation of courses and lectures<\/strong> aimed at disseminating the activities organised by both the MARQ Foundation and the Behavioural Neurology and Dementia Unit of the Hospital de Sant Vicent del Raspeig. methods of analysis<\/strong> The Unit's own work to evaluate the effectiveness of the actions carried out jointly and to be able to transfer them to other units, hospitals and institutions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The MARQ Foundation has extensive experience in the development of initiatives aimed at people affected by Alzheimer's disease, among them the programme Marq.
