It reopened its doors to the public on 14 August 2009. Since July last year, the site has been the venue for all of the safety measures necessary to preserve the health of its workers and visitors<\/strong>following the approval of a Contingency and Accessibility Plan with which the museum obtained the \"Safe Tourism Certified\" seal issued by the ICTE.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Almohad Tower of Almudaina is a BIC -Bien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural<\/strong>- This monument has the status of a monument that introduces the visitor to the knowledge and enjoyment of the architecture, landscape and history. The monument from the Islamic period formed part of the fortified enclosure of a small farmhouse, known as \"al-Mudayyina\", the origin of the name of the town. Almudaina is located in the interior of the province of Alicante, in the mountainous region of El Comtat, 587 metres above sea level.
