For the fourth consecutive year, MARQ was the setting for the blood and bone marrow donation marathon organised by ASISA and e<\/span>The Transfusion Centre of the Valencian Community, with the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Alicante, the City Council and several companies of the city that have supported the event through an emotional promotional video and that this year had as a slogan <\/span>Filling lives, blood and marrow donation campaign'.<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The vice-president of the Provincial Council and Councillor for Culture, Julia Parra, wanted to support with her presence this initiative to encourage people to donate blood, a simple gesture with which each person can help to save up to three lives. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Archaeological Museum of Alicante's facilities were visited by a total of <\/span>379 donors, of whom 51 were first time donors and 8 bone marrow donations were recorded.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Both the Transfusion Centre and ASISA were very positive about the data from the day.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
