<\/span><\/span><\/strong>The Archaeological Museum of Alicante<\/strong> has once again welcomed the participants of the Project<\/strong> MARQ+65<\/strong>,<\/span><\/span> an initiative developed with Aulas de la tercera Edad de Alicante' (Alicante Senior Classrooms)<\/strong> (ASAUTE), which contributes to the cultural and social growth<\/strong> of older people<\/span><\/span>as well as intergenerational dialogue<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n They are fulfilled five years<\/strong> since the CV MARQ Foundation<\/strong> The aim of the project is to enhance the experience of older people by promoting the interpersonal relations and coexistence<\/strong> in their own city. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n This edition of MARQ +65 began in October 2020<\/strong> in the dual online and face-to-face mode, and training sessions will be held until 4 June.<\/strong>The museum's content from Prehistory to the Modern and Contemporary Ages, with restricted seating capacity in compliance with all the health measures in force, will be on display. The proposal includes visits to the permanent galleries, talks on certain aspects of the different cultures present in our lands, workshops, practical sessions, as well as visits to the different archaeological sites of the MARQ.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The lectures in the calendar cover varied and entertaining content about the archaeology<\/strong>the history of Alicante<\/strong> through tours of the old town and the traditional centre, or the cinema<\/strong>with films or historical series that provide a more didactic and entertaining way of learning about major milestones.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n This programme consolidates a long-term project whose main objective is to bring the Museum closer to the elderly by involving them in cultural life, so that they feel that they are part of the Museum. the MARQ as a closer, more open and interesting space<\/strong>.
