The second part of the course Formative Itinerary of the Cultural Landscape of the Alicante countryside<\/strong> organised by the CV-MARQ Foundation will be held this year online from 13 to 29 April. The conference, directed by the archaeologist Jos\u00e9 Luis Men\u00e9ndez<\/strong> and open to all those interested, will be attended by a large team of collaborators and specialists from the Museum. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parra<\/strong>He explained that \"the programme aims to appreciate and highlight the importance of this unique heritage in our province and its capacity to become a tourist, cultural and social asset in its own right\".<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Among the objectives of the course, which has the official recognition of the Conseller\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n, are to locate and know the cultural and historical richness of Camp d'Alacant <\/strong>in time and space, to eliminate stereotypes by creating a more faithful to the historical and cultural reality<\/strong>to know the structure of the different archaeological, historical, ethnographic, socio-cultural and traditional heritage elements <\/strong>of the area that preserve a unique heritage with more than 500 years of history. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Camp d'Alacant<\/strong> The area is home to a cultural and historical heritage of incalculable value, the safeguarding of which is essential in the face of the intense anthropic and urbanising action that exists in the area surrounding the capital. The towers of the huerta, ditches, irrigation channels, mills, crops, irrigation traditions and uses, music and customs make up an important heritage that needs to be recovered, conserved and enhanced. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
