 The Archaeological Museum of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante (Alicante Provincial Council)<\/strong> has launched a new training programme online<\/strong> to bring the findings from the site of the Pobla de Ifach<\/strong> to the schoolchildren<\/strong>. Through the project, the MARQ Foundation<\/strong> and the area of Culture<\/strong> of the Alicante Provincial Council<\/strong> have taken a further step in the process of digitising the museum's educational resources.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The First Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parra<\/strong>announced the agreement reached with the Calp Town Council through the Department of Education, which is directed by Rebeca Merch\u00e1n <\/strong>for the programme to be taught free of charge in the municipality's schools. \"These new resources will allow nearly 2,000 primary and secondary school students to learn about their local archaeological heritage and its history through the remains investigated in the enclave of Pobla de Ifach,\" explained Julia Parra.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rebeca Merch\u00e1n has stated that \"the aim of this institutional collaboration is that all schoolchildren in Calp can enjoy this educational proposal from March onwards, with the close collaboration of teachers and the financial support of the Cultural Department of the Provincial Council\".<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The training programme includes a didactic guide<\/strong> in Spanish and Valencian, together with activities that teachers and students can consult and download from the website to work on the contents in the classroom. These resources can also be downloaded at easy-to-read format<\/strong>for students with comprehension difficulties. In addition, there will be an interactive trivia game with questions to consolidate the knowledge acquired, a video presentation aimed at children with a presentation by the curator of the exhibition, the MARQ archaeologist, and a video presentation of the exhibition by the MARQ archaeologist. Jos\u00e9 Luis Men\u00e9ndez<\/strong>and an audiovisual presentation of the exhibition with cartoon<\/strong> with all the information about the graphite, its discovery, its importance as a historical document and its contribution to documenting the history of Ifach.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, a didactic workshop in streaming<\/strong>Knights and Graffiti', to reproduce the drawing with the image of the knight that appeared in the Domus Lauria in Calp. It will serve to propose a journey back in time to the medieval city origin of the municipality. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The training initiative on the La Pobla archaeological site is the result of the collaboration between the MARQ Foundation and the Calp Town Council after the inauguration of the exhibition 'The Knight of Ifach. The decline of the medieval city'.<\/em><\/strong>. The Consistory of Calpe is a member of the Board of Trustees of the CV-MARQ Foundation and makes an annual contribution of 12,000 euros.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Caballeros y graffiti', like the other educational workshops offered by the MARQ Foundation, is open to any other school interested in taking part, by prior arrangement, in person and via streaming, and on payment of a fee of \u20ac1 per pupil.
