    The Alicante Provincial Council<\/strong> presented this morning the new website<\/strong> and the first mobile application<\/strong> of the Cultural Agenda<\/strong> which will unify the institution's programming, offering users services and information on activities from any digital medium.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The project, promoted by the Culture area<\/strong> with the collaboration of the IT department, brings together all the cultural centres of the provincial institution, the ADDA<\/strong>the Juan Gil-Albert Institute of Culture of Alicante<\/strong> and museums MARQ<\/strong> and MUBAG<\/strong>It will also include actions organised with other institutions and entities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parra<\/strong>The new proposal, which includes functionalities such as the establishment of a la carte\" selections<\/strong>, how to buy tickets<\/strong> o reservations<\/strong>. \"The public can complete the whole process, from start to finish, and choose according to their preferences among all the options available to them: concerts, guided tours, family activities or digital proposals, among others, personalising the possibilities to the maximum\", explained the deputy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new website \"Dipu Cultura Alicante\".<\/strong>The more complete and dynamic version, is available at the URL http:\/\/agendacultural.diputacionalicante.es\/<\/a> and its mobile app will be available for download via the Play Store from this week. A second phase of development for access from iOS devices is expected to be completed by the end of November.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Among the new features, the new digital development will allow users to receive weekly information and daily reminders of the activities through the new open subscription channel. \"In this way, we want to build loyalty with our public and reach more people to make a diverse and varied cultural programme known in an intuitive, easy and direct way\", said the deputy for Culture.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative completes a digitisation process<\/strong> which was developed especially in view of the pandemic and the closure of the cultural facilities. Since March, a wide range of events has been on offer through the online channels<\/strong> of all the Diputaci\u00f3n's cultural centres, especially intense during periods of confinement, with virtual visits to exhibitions, national educational programmes, concerts, master classes, workshops for children and competitions. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Julia Parra pointed out that \"the digital context, as has already been demonstrated, is more necessary than ever in the face of possible mobility restriction scenarios. This is the only way we can continue to enjoy culture with proposals adapted to the different audiences, needs and health situations defined by Covid\".<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
