The MARQ <\/strong>has presented the new summer programme<\/strong> which, due to the circumstances imposed by Covid-19, changes the face-to-face option for the virtual one and maintains <\/strong>the line of work <\/strong>followed in recent years fifteen years of summer activities<\/strong>. The next Monday, 6 July,<\/strong> will kick off the calendar with weekly proposals<\/strong>Monday to Friday, until 28 August<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parra<\/strong>explained that \" the main objective of this year's edition is that children and young people <\/strong>maintain contact and engagement with the centre through content designed to entertain and educate, <\/a>on this occasion virtually. In this way, users will be able to enjoy the exhibitions and participate as a family.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Every day, at 11 a.m., the different proposals related to the theme of the week, audiovisuals, didactic material, images or links of interest.<\/strong>. The Capacity on this occasion is unlimited<\/strong> and a team of monitors will explain content, tell stories, conduct workshops and invite participation and simultaneously carry out the proposed activities<\/strong>. In addition, you can send work, photos, recordings or any other material you wish to share.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/span>MARQ recommends all those interested to log on from the first day each week, as it will be on Mondays when it will specify what materials or elements will be needed to carry out the activities each day at home. In the planned programme, the traditional drawing competition<\/strong> related to the theme of the museum or its archaeological sites, the winners of which will illustrate the front and back cover of the MARQ Activity Guide for the school year 2020\/2021<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Daily programming:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Monday:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> welcome video to introduce the theme of the week and material necessary to actively participate in the activities.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> the character of \"Lola the archaeologist\" will explain, through a series of videos, what the objects representative of the historical period being worked on consist of.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> clothing workshop to learn how to make clothes and accessories for each stage. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> didactic workshop to make reproductions of the museum's most significant pieces.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Friday:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> stories and games.    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
