E<\/span><\/span><\/strong>l Tossal de Manises archaeological site <\/strong>will host this weekend the IV Conference of Historical Recreation<\/strong> \"Reviviscit Lucentum\", an initiative of the MARQ <\/strong>to raise awareness of this enclave and highlight its important historical content.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia Parra<\/strong>, <\/strong>explained that the main objective of this initiative, now in its fourth edition, is to disseminating the rich heritage <\/strong>that the Lucentum site treasures, the most visited in the Comunitat Valenciana,<\/strong> and has placed special emphasis on the historical rigour of the performances. The life of a Roman camp, military displays and gladiatorial combats are some of the scenes that will be interpreted by the Hispania Romana cultural association<\/strong> a national, non-profit organisation that studies the Roman presence in Spain<\/strong> and other parts of the Mediterranean, with particular emphasis on their cultural legacy<\/strong>language and customs. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The re-enactments will take place over two sessions, on s\u00e1bado 28<\/strong>from 17:30 to 20:00 hours, and on Sunday 29 September<\/strong>from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The capacity for the activities will be limited to a maximum of 250 people per session<\/strong> and the ticket price is 3 euros per session (children up to 7 years old can enter for free). The museum, the archaeological sites and the Torre de la Almudaina will open their doors free of charge<\/strong> in its usual timetable:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n MARQ<\/span><\/span><\/strong> from 10:00 to 19:00 hours<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Research Night<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The museum will also host tomorrow the celebration of the European Research Night<\/strong> which will start at 10:00 a.m. with a guided tour entitled \"Women through the legacy of MARQ\". <\/strong>to explain the role that women have played throughout history. \"Discovering our ancestors <\/strong>is the second proposal, which will be held at 12:00 and 17:00 and will focus on the Auxiliary Sciences that help the progress of Archaeology.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
