The cultural offer of the MARQ has once again triumphed in the commemoration of International Museum Day. This year's open days have the following theme Museums as Cultural Hubs: The Future of Tradition<\/em>. The programme designed by the MARQ has organised activities both in the Museum and in the archaeological sites, the Tossal de Manises Lucentum and the Illeta dels Banyets, which have filled the capacity of all the shows. The animated visits to the archaeological parks, interpreted by the Asociaci\u00f3n de Reconstrucci\u00f3n Hist\u00f3rica Hispania Romana, were particularly well received by the public.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the Museum, the international exhibition Iran. Cradle of Civilisations<\/em>The Museum of Iran, an impressive collection of nearly 200 objects from the National Museum of Iran in Tehran, covers the history of this fascinating culture from the earliest human remains to the 18th century. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From Friday to Sunday a total of 5,192 people have visited the MARQ, Lucentum, La Illeta dels Banyets and the Almudaina Almohad Tower, with whom we have celebrated the great cultural festival of the DIM 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Iran. Cradle of Civilisations can be visited at MARQ until 1 September 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
