       MARQ's next exhibition will focus on Iranian culture and the rich material heritage of this Middle Eastern country. Iran. Cradle of Civilisations'.<\/strong> will land in Alicante next month March<\/strong> with an unpublished exhibition of great historical value.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

       This was presented this afternoon at FITUR by the deputy for Culture, C\u00e9sar Augusto Asencio<\/strong>The meeting was attended by the Director General of Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iran, Seyed Ali Pakdaman<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span>The event was also attended by the deputy for Tourism Promotion, Eduardo Dol\u00f3n<\/strong>the managing director of the MARQ Foundation, Jos\u00e9 Alberto Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>and the museum's Director of Exhibitions and Dissemination, Jorge Soler<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

       As Asencio has advanced, tomorrow they will meet with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Ghaashghavi<\/strong>to finalise the last steps of this major and powerful project, which will allow MARQ to display unique pieces from the National Museum of Iran<\/strong> (MNI).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

       Representatives of both countries took part in the diplomatic steps that ended just a few days ago with the signing of the contract of transfer of pieces between the two museums<\/strong>. This is a fundamental step in order to temporarily house this collection, which includes about two hundred pieces of high value<\/strong>The study, twenty of which are gold, dates back to the first human presence in the area, some 300,000 years<\/strong>until Islamisation in the 18th century AD<\/strong>.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

       The deputy for Culture specified that \"Iran, cradle of cultures and civilisations, is for us a very important and desired exhibition because it is an area and a territory that we had not explored before in the MARQ\". <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

       In addition, the head of culture announced that the Alicante museum is already preparing an exhibition that will be taken to Iran with \"the most worthy expression of the culture of the Mediterranean\". <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

     For his part, Seyed Ali Pakdaman, who has pointed out some of the details involved in the exhibition, has indicated that he is happy to bring to Alicante some of the art of the goldsmiths of your country<\/strong> with pieces, some of them, that reach the 3,000 years of history<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

       This cultural and heritage exchange includes a series of complementary activities organised by the MARQ technical team in collaboration with the MNI and ICTHO. Among them, a series of conferences<\/strong> with the participation of the University of Alicante<\/strong> and a iranian film series<\/strong> to be exhibited at the next edition of the Alicante Film Festival<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
