The MARQ will celebrate tomorrow, for the first time, <\/span>the European Research Night, which will take place from<\/span> form <\/span>simultaneously in more than 300 EU-wide cities in more than 30 countries. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Didactics department has put together a programme of free activities that includes visits and workshops aimed at primary and secondary schoolchildren, as well as a guided tour focusing on the role of women throughout history, which is also open to the general public:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 10.00h. \"Discovering our ancestors<\/em>\". <\/span><\/strong>Educational visit and excavation workshop. Aimed at primary and secondary school pupils.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 10.00h.<\/span><\/strong> \"Women through the legacy of MARQ\". <\/em><\/strong>Guided tour with puzzles to solve with the help of specialists and educational worksheets. Aimed at primary and secondary school pupils.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 12.00h.<\/span><\/strong> \"Restoring the past\". <\/em><\/strong>Guided tour and restoration workshop with the MARQ restorers. <\/em><\/strong>Aimed at primary and secondary school pupils.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 17.30h.<\/span><\/strong> \"Women through the legacy of MARQ\". <\/span><\/em><\/strong>Guided tour highlighting the role that women have played throughout history. Aimed at the general public.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Participation in these initiatives is free until full capacity is reached. Admission to the Museum does not vary during the celebration of the Nit Europea de la Investigaci\u00f3 Valenciana, in which university centres, museums, public administrations and research and cultural centres participate (in our province, in addition to the MARQ, the Elche City Council, the University of Alicante and the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University have joined the initiative). In this way, the aim is to attract the attention of society to science, especially young people, in order to encourage vocations in science and technology.
