The MARQ<\/strong> will be present at this year's 21st edition of the Belgrade International Archaeological Film Festival<\/strong> with two documentaries on the Hallstatt and Viking exhibitions. The Cervantes Institute<\/strong> of the Serbian capital has asked the Archaeological Museum of Alicante for the two pieces to be present at this non-competitive event, which will be held in the city of Alicante. March<\/strong>. In addition, the event will host the participation of countries such as Italy, Greece, Turkey and Iran, among others.<\/p>\n The documentary \"The Salt Kingdom: 7,000 years of Hallstatt\".<\/strong>by the Institutional Image and Promotion Area<\/strong> of the Alicante Provincial Council<\/strong> for the exhibition hosted by MARQ in 2013, won important international awards. In the competition Arkhaios of South Carolina<\/strong> was designated as Best Archaeological Documentary<\/strong> 2015<\/strong> and in the Oregon Festival<\/strong> won the Award for the Best Screenplay<\/strong>. The film, which depicts one of the most important archaeological sites in European history located in northern Austria, was selected from over two hundred films from 45 countries to be screened at the X AGON International Meeting of Archeological Film<\/strong> of Greece<\/strong> in 2015.<\/p>\n On the other hand, the film on the exhibition \"Vikings. Warriors of the North. Giants of the Sea\".<\/strong>The essence of an unpublished production that can currently be visited at the MARQ to discover the lesser known aspects of the daily, cultural, religious and political life<\/strong> of this fearsome Nordic people.<\/p>\n The National Museum of Belgrade<\/strong> has been organising this festival since 1998 with the aim of presenting the latest achievements in documentary film production.
