     The Archaeological Museum of Alicante hosts this evening from 18:00 hours onwards <\/strong>its traditional Christmas tree lighting party<\/strong>after inclement weather made it impossible to hold the event last Friday. The deputy for Culture and Education, C\u00e9sar Augusto Asencio<\/strong>will participate in this event which includes family games and children's workshops<\/strong> where children will have fun while making wreaths and mistletoe decorations to hang on the front door. In addition, everyone will be able to write their letter to the Three Wise Men, deposit their coins in the Wishing Well or taste chestnuts.<\/p>\n

         After today, the programme of activities planned by the MARQ for these special dates will continue. until Thursday 5 January<\/strong> with proposals such as a craft market<\/strong> in the gardens of the museum, which can be visited during opening hours. from 11:00 to 23:00 hours<\/strong>. Solidarity will also be present in these days through a space to collect non-perishable food<\/strong>which will then be given to the most needy families.<\/p>\n

     The special Christmas calendar also offers youngsters the chance to enjoy and learn through a series of activities and events. theatre plays <\/strong>which will be performed on 27th -'Diversa'-, 28th -'Cuenta Conmigo'-, 29th -'Juglamos'- and 30th December -'Una merienda de cuentos'- at 12:30 p.m. in the museum. The entry will be free of charge<\/strong> in exchange for food<\/strong> and will be limited to the capacity of the hall.<\/p>\n

    The visits of Father Christmas<\/strong> and the Royal Mailman<\/strong>thelive music concerts<\/strong>the face painting workshops<\/strong>the storytelling<\/strong>the magic<\/strong>the puppets<\/strong>the stilts<\/strong>the juggling<\/strong>the fakir fire shows<\/strong> or the SOAP BUBBLES<\/strong> giant<\/strong> are other of the many proposals that the centre has programmed.<\/p>\n

      In addition, the MARQ will be present from 23 to 31 December at the Children and Youth Leisure Fair EXPONADAL<\/strong>The exhibition will be held at IFA, where it will carry out various workshops, games and entertainment activities related to the exhibitions currently on display at the museum.<\/p>\n
