The Municipal Archaeological Museum of Callosa de Segura<\/strong> opened its doors last Friday to the travelling exhibition \"Light of Rome<\/strong> which consists of oil lamps from the Roman period. The <\/strong> 43 pieces <\/strong>which compiles this exhibition, supported by the Provincial Government<\/strong>The MARQ <\/strong>as well as the museums of Elda <\/strong>and L'Alcudia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The exhibition, whose aim is to raise awareness of the utility, form and decoration<\/strong> of these small objects that have been changing over the centuries of the Roman rule<\/strong>has already visited the museums of Alicante and Elda, where the number of visits testifies to the good reception from the public<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Member of Parliament for Culture and Education, C\u00e9sar Augusto Asencio<\/strong>he inauguratedat 20:00<\/strong>The exhibition, together with the technical director of the museum in Alicante, is part of this new itinerancy of \"Luz de Roma\", Manuel Olcina<\/strong>the managing director of the MARQ Foundation, Josep Albert Cort\u00e9s<\/strong> and the curator of the exhibition, Anna Garc\u00eda Barrachina<\/strong>. This initiative, which is reinforced by various explanatory panels<\/strong> which cover topics related to the production and trade of lucernas, as well as two audiovisuals<\/strong> which provide complementary information, as well as a visitor's guide and a catalogue in Valencian, Spanish and English.<\/p>\n The objects that make up this compilation come from both the Archaeological Museum of Alicante, and from the Monographic Museum of La Alcudia of Elche<\/strong> and of the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Elda<\/strong>.
