Great public acceptance of the variety of proposals that the cultural centres of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante have organised this weekend to commemorate the '...'.International Museum Day<\/strong>'. Workshops, competitions, games, guided tours and open days with free admission for the whole family have brought together in the MARQ<\/strong>, the MUBAG and the MUBOMA <\/strong>to more than 6,500 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Member of Parliament for Culture Juan Bautista Rosell\u00f3<\/strong> has described the initiative as a success which is developed jointly with other centres in the city of Alicante and which represents a different way of disseminating and highlighting our rich cultural and artistic heritage, bringing it closer to the public in an easy, simple and free way.<\/u>.<\/p>\n The number of visitors registered this weekend at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante <\/strong>has been 3,555 people<\/strong>The visitors were able to enjoy, free of charge, the exhibitions housed in the centre and the different educational activities organised by the MARQ, such as the historical fencing exhibition and the great gymkhana. In addition, around 500 children<\/strong> have participated in the children's workshops on making bricks, reusable bags and windmills.<\/p>\n For its part, 1,527 visitors<\/strong> participated in the Gravina Fine Arts Museum<\/strong> in some of the activities organised by the complex, such as the dramatised visit to the exhibition \"The 19th century at the MUBAG.
