The President of the Provincial Council of Alicante and the MARQ Foundation, Luisa Pastor<\/strong>and the vice-president of the Fundaci\u00f3n Cajamar Comunidad Valenciana, Ra\u00fal Lafuente<\/strong>have signed a collaboration agreement<\/strong> which aims to promote accessibility to the cultural services and activities offered by the Archaeological Museum of Alicante to the public. group of people with functional diversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The document includes a programme for the normalisation and integration of people with functional diversity to guarantee their access to the archaeological heritage of the province, thanks to a contribution of the financial institution of 8,000 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pastor pointed out that It is a satisfaction that this entity is behind the MARQ, a centre of reference in the whole province, with a social purpose that allows the museum to be practically accessible to everyone, because there are no architectural barriers, the archaeological sites are accessible and people with visual or hearing disabilities can also visit the exhibitions with audio guides. All this would not be possible without the help of different entities, in this case Cajamar, which maintains its commitment to the museum.<\/u>.<\/p>\n

For his part, Lafuente highlighted the possibilities that this agreement opens up for people with functional diversity to increase their access to knowledge and culture. He also pointed out that we are happy to continue collaborating in this initiative, above all because we fulfil the social aims established by our foundation and at the same time we collaborate from a social and cultural perspective with the province of Alicante and with an emblematic museum such as the MARQ.<\/u>.<\/p>\n
