It was precisely as a result of the exhibition at MARQ<\/strong> of this material, recognised by the UNESCO<\/strong> and from the Natural History Museum Vienna<\/strong>when the idea of producing the film came up, explaining where it came from. <\/p>\n The Member of Parliament for Institutional Image and Promotion M\u00aa Carmen from Spain<\/strong> has highly appreciated the nomination of this documentary film, directed by Domingo Rodes<\/strong>given the quality of the work submitted<\/strong> over the thirteen previous editions, which have been contested by both the national and international production companies of important trajectory and great prestige.<\/strong>. The filming of the movie, in the Austrian town of Hallstatt,<\/strong> was a exciting experience<\/strong> for the provincial institution's team, made up of three technicians from the department and an archaeologist from MARQ<\/strong>They were accompanied by a team of archaeologists and technicians from the Natural History Museum in Vienna. Much of the filming took place in deep, narrow galleries at twenty degrees below outside, and despite the difficulties, the team achieved its goal of making the project as educational as possible.<\/p>\n The Bidasoa International Festival<\/strong> has as its objective<\/strong> to publicise and bringing archaeology closer to society<\/strong>by means of dissemination of audiovisual works<\/strong> which collect the results of the research by archaeologists<\/strong>The event will ensure the promotion of these works. The competition is held since 2001<\/strong>It became competitive in 2004. Since then it has three prizes<\/strong>: the Grand Prize of the Festival<\/strong>the Special Audience Award<\/strong> and the Arkeolan Prize for the popularisation of science<\/strong>.
