D. in Anthropology and researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Jesus Carlos Lazcano<\/strong> will offer tomorrow Wednesday 3 September at 19:00 hours<\/strong> in the MARQ Assembly Hall<\/strong> a conference on the Aztec city of Xochitecatl-Cacaxtla Xochitecatl-Cacaxtla<\/strong>a pre-Hispanic settlement<\/strong> located in the Puebla-Tlaxcala valley, which was planned and built around 800 BC.<\/p>\n

        In the course of his speech, the speaker will explain the tasks<\/strong> exploration and conservation <\/strong>that have been taking place in Cacaxtla for more than thirty years, as well as the research activities<\/strong>, protection and enhancement<\/strong> carried out at Xoxhitecatl. These works have allowed researchers to affirm that during the Epiclassic period (650-950 A.D.) both sites corresponded to a single social unit.<\/p>\n

        In addition, Lazcano will give a historiographical account of the studies that have been carried out in both settlements<\/strong>, considered Cultural Heritage of the state of Tlaxcala<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
