On the occasion of the celebration on friday 18 april<\/strong> of the 'International Day for Monuments and Sites<\/strong>' and the forthcoming holidays of Easter<\/strong>the MARQ has programmed a complete calendar of recreational and educational activities<\/strong>. Workshops, competitions, theatrical performances and open days are just some of the activities on offer, especially for the youngest members of the family.<\/p>\n In this way, the MARQ will commemorate these festivities by celebrating open days<\/strong> with free admission on 18, 19 and 20 April<\/strong> at the sites of Tossal de Manises, Illeta dels Banyets, Pla de Petracos and Torre de Almudaina.<\/p>\n In addition, the calendar offers youngsters the opportunity to enjoy and learn through a series of shows and plays<\/strong> to be performed on the following days 22, 23, 24 and 25 April<\/strong> at 12.30 p.m. <\/strong>in the MARQ Assembly Hall. Admission will be free and limited to the capacity of the hall. However, the museum asks visitors to make a voluntary contribution of non-perishable foodstuffs.<\/strong> which will subsequently be delivered to the Alicante Food Bank.<\/p>\n Friends of the museum and members of Club Llumiq who come to the centre during these dates will also be able to participate in the workshops <\/strong>related to the temporary exhibition \"Orihuela.
