The aim of these initiatives is to <strong>to promote the dissemination of the museum and bring the sites closer to the public<\/strong> <strong>archaeological<\/strong> to citizens.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>The President of the Alicante Provincial Council <strong>Luisa Pastor<\/strong> yesterday chaired the Executive Committee of the <strong>Board of Trustees of the Fundaci\u00f3n Comunidad Valenciana MARQ <\/strong>which was also informed about the incorporation of <strong>SUMA Tax Management<\/strong> and <strong>Telef\u00f3nica de Espa\u00f1a S<\/strong>.<strong>A<\/strong>.<strong>U<\/strong>. as <strong>new museum sponsors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>As for the cultural proposals that are planned from next October onwards, there is a programme aimed at <strong>children between 8 and 12 years old<\/strong> which encompasses <strong>educational workshops and museum visits<\/strong> the <strong>Saturday afternoons<\/strong>. In addition, the <strong>Sunday mornings<\/strong> an activity will be developed for <strong>the whole family<\/strong> which combines a <strong>excursion to MARQ<\/strong> and another to the <strong>archaeological sites<\/strong> of the Tossal de Manises, in the Roman city of Lucentum, or the Illeta dels Banyets, in El Campello. The idea is for participants to move from one site to another by walking, cycling or using the TRAM.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>In addition, it is intended to continue the programme of <strong>dramatised visits <\/strong>to the international exhibition <em>\"<\/em><em>The Kingdom of Salt. 7,000 years of Hallstatt history\". <\/em>the <strong>Saturday afternoons<\/strong> and <strong>strengthening relations with the province's schools and colleges<\/strong>The museum will be providing them with all the information on the educational offerings of both the museum and the archaeological parks it manages.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: center;'><img alt='Previo de la imagen' src='http:\/\/marqalicante-classic-admin.qwair.com\/contenido\/noticias_iconos\/foto_300_1.jpg' \/><\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>The Foundation has also agreed that, as of next October, it will be possible to <strong>modify MARQ's opening hours<\/strong> to extend its opening on Saturday afternoons. Thus, the museum will be open from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 hours, while on Saturdays from 10:00 to 20:30 hours and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 14:00 hours.
