The activity, with <strong>free access<\/strong> and <strong>aimed at people of all ages<\/strong>will take place this weekend. Thus, the <strong>Saturday 10 August<\/strong> the Almohad monument can be visited free of charge <strong>from 10:00 to 14:00 hours and from 19:00 to 21:00 hours<\/strong>while the <strong>Sunday<\/strong> <strong>11 August<\/strong> access shall be free of <strong>10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>Through this activity, the provincial institution aims to <strong>to make this fortress known to the public <\/strong>originating from the first half of the 13th century and<strong>declared an Asset of Cultural Interest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: center;'><img alt='' src='\/contenido\/genericas\/Torre Almudaina 01.JPG' style='width: 600px; height: 400px;' \/><\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>Throughout these four years, <strong>about 6,500 people<\/strong> have approached this complex dating back to the Islamic period <strong>managed by the MARQ Foundation<\/strong>which highlights the cultural heritage of the province. Schoolchildren and visitors from all over Alicante and the rest of Spain have been able to enjoy this museum, <strong>divided into<\/strong> <strong>four floors<\/strong>The museum offers a journey through the history of this structure and of the municipality of Almudaina.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>The property was <strong>restored and museumised by<\/strong> <strong>on<\/strong> <strong>Architecture Area<\/strong> of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante. After its opening to the public in August 2009, the Torrequed\u00f3<strong>integrated into the network of sites<\/strong>,<strong>archaeological parks and interpretation centres of the MARQ and its Foundation<\/strong>It is possible to arrange a visit through the MARQ Visits Arrangements Service by calling <strong>965.149.006 or at the Tower itself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify;'>The Member of Parliament for Culture <strong>Juan Bautista Rosell\u00f3 <\/strong>has pointed out that <u>The Almudaina Tower is a cultural and tourist resource of the first order due to its richness and historical importance.
