The Foundation<\/strong>of the Valencian Community MARQ<\/strong>and the Santa Pola Town Hall<\/strong> have signed a collaboration agreement for the joint production of the exhibition \".Santa Pola<\/strong>,Archaeology and Museum<\/strong>\"The exhibition is made up of a selection of pieces from the Museum of the Sea<\/strong>some of which, such as a Votive altar from Roman times<\/strong>will leave the Baix Vinalop\u00f3 municipality for the first time.<\/p>\n The President of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante and of the Foundation Luisa<\/strong>Pastor<\/strong> and the local mayor Miguel Zaragoza<\/strong> have signed this morning the agreement, which will bring citizens closer to the the local heritage and the past of the lands of Santa Pola<\/strong> through material collections dating from prehistoric times to the present day.<\/p>\n In this way, the municipality of Santa Pola will make available <\/strong>of the Archaeological Museum of Alicantethe parts needed for the exhibition set-up<\/strong>It will also provide the contents for the production of graphic and audiovisual supports. For its part, the MARQ will be in charge of the design<\/strong>the assembly<\/strong> and the dissemination<\/strong> of the sample, as well as the editing and publication of a catalogue<\/strong> with content about it.<\/p>\n The exhibition, which will occupy two halls of the Alicante museum and will be on display between December 2012 and February 2013<\/strong>summarises 30 years of archaeological research in the municipality. Among the most outstanding pieces on display will be, in addition to the Votive altar from Roman times<\/strong>The Sarcophagus of Proserpina<\/strong>found in the sea near Santa Pola.
