The Board of Trustees of the Foundation of the Valencian Community MARQ<\/strong> held its constituent meeting this morning to appoint the new trustees <\/strong>and elect the members of the Executive Committee<\/strong> and the Commission<\/strong>Scientific-Technical<\/strong>and Management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The President of the Alicante Provincial Council Luisa Pastor<\/strong> chaired this meeting, which took note of the appointment of the following members of the Committee as elected trustees<\/strong>on a proposal from the plenary session of the provincial institution, from the members of parliament Adela Pedrosa<\/strong>, M\u00aa Carmen de Espa\u00f1a and<\/strong> Joaqu\u00edn Albaladejo<\/strong>for the Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats) and European Democrats M\u00aa Elena Albentosa<\/strong>The Socialist Group has also proposed, on behalf of the Socialist Group, the following Member of Parliament Jos\u00e9 Francisco Chulvi<\/strong> whose appointment must be ratified by the Plenary of the Diputaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n Among the people of recognised social and cultural prestige<\/strong>The elected trustees, as proposed by the plenary session of the provincial institution, include the following, Rafael Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>President of the Business Confederation of the Province of Alicante -COEPA-, Francisco Ivorra<\/strong>Chairman of Lavinia Sociedad Cooperativa and Asisa S.A., Jos\u00e9 Antonio Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>Parish priest of the Santo Domingo Ap\u00f3stol church in Orihuela and rector of the Sanctuary of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Monserrate in Orihuela, and M\u00aa Teresa Carbonell<\/strong>Councillor of the Socialist Group in Xixona Town Council.<\/p>\n At the proposal of the President, the following also join as elected trustees Lorenzo Abad<\/strong>Professor of Archaeology at the University of Alicante, Mauro Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>Professor of Prehistory at the University of Alicante, Emilio Soler<\/strong>Professor-Doctor in the Department of Medieval and Modern History at the University of Alicante, Rafael Ramos<\/strong>director of the Archaeological and History Museums of Elche, and Vicente Sala Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>Samar International Group, Managing Director of Samar International Group.<\/p>\n Likewise, one person has been appointed for each of the founding entities other than the Diputaci\u00f3n.
