In the MORNING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Weekly courses will be held from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 13:30. These courses will be aimed at children from 8 to 14 years old and it will be necessary to be registered as the workshop has a limited number of places. The mornings from Tuesday to Friday will be devoted to getting to know the temporary exhibition and on Saturday we will invite the relatives of these participants to visit the museum and see everything they have learnt during the week.
The programmed activities are centred on the temporary exhibition \"Hermitage. Treasures of Russian Archaeology at the Marq\". Each day of the week will be dedicated to a different theme with a corresponding visit to the exhibition hall and workshop.<\/p>\n

* NOTE: during the two summer months we will be holding a drawing competition and every day we will dedicate time for the children to present their drawing at the end of the week.<\/p>\n

In the EVENING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Summer afternoons are ideal for our activities in the MARQ Archaeological Parks. As we have done on previous occasions, we are extending the range of activities so that not only the youngest visitors, but also their families, can participate and accompany them with the groups that are formed. It will be in the Tossal de Manises and in the Illeta dels Banyets, from Tuesday to Thursday and from 19:00 to 21:00 hours.<\/p>\n

Group size limit: 25 people, prior registration.<\/p>\n

On odd-numbered weeks the activities will take place at the Lucentum site and on even-numbered weeks at the Illeta dels Banyets. Total: 8 weeks<\/p>\n

Within each of the sites, a specific programme will be developed, focusing the Lucentum site on Roman culture and the Illeta dels Banyets site on Prehistory and Iberian culture, as follows:<\/p>\n

Skylight workshop: using the moulding technique you will be able to make an authentic Roman skylight.
Roman puppets and games: after a Roman puppet show we will learn what children played with at that time. Toys and games that they can later use and put into practice.<\/p>\n

Days in July: 12, 13, 14 26, 27 and 28; in August: 9, 10, 11, 23, 24 and 25<\/p>\n

Prehistoric Ritual Workshop: we will dress up as authentic prehistoric people and we will celebrate the feast of nature. To remember this great day we will represent this feast in a rock art mural.
Iberian Ceramics Workshop: after the visit we will be able to decorate a kalathos with Iberian characters.<\/p>\n

FAREWELL PARTY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On Tuesday 30 August we will have a farewell party to round off the summer activities campaign.<\/p>\n
