This year's theme is \"Museums for Social Harmony\", which ICOM officials say is an invitation for museums to open doors to plurality.<\/p>\n
The activities that we have planned at MARQ aim to show the great variety of cultures that have shaped our history, as well as the various temporary exhibitions that have been presented at MARQ as a reflection of this plurality. <\/span>Programme of activities at MARQ Day: Saturday 15 May 2010 <\/strong>\u25baE<\/span>Free admission - limited to the capacity of the rooms - both to the museum and to the temporary exhibitions \"The Enigma of the Mummy\" and \"Egyptian objects in Alicante\". Admission to the archaeological parks and sites of Lucentum (Alicante), La Illeta (El Campello), El Pl\u00e1 de Petracos (Castell de Castells) and the Almohad Tower (Almudaina) will also be free.<\/font><\/p>\n To celebrate Museum Day, on Saturday 15th May the MARQ will host the performance \"Transdanza\" by the students and teachers of the Contemporary Dance Department of the \"Jos\u00e9 Espadero\" Professional Dance Conservatory of Alicante. - Participation in the drawing competition for the next cover of the \"Gu\u00eda de actividades Did\u00e1cticas 2010\/2011\".
- Participatory games related to ICOM's motto<\/p>\n
