An Andalusian defensive complex in the Ŷibāl Balansiya. Preliminary results of the southeast wall of Castellar d'Alcoi (Alicante).
We present the archaeological work carried out during the 2016 and 2019 excavation campaigns in Sector 2 of Castellar d'Alcoi (Alicante), as part of the project "El hîṣn islámico del Castellar d'Alcoi". The results of the interventions have brought to light a defensive complex dating from the late 10th and early 11th centuries.
