Archaeological monitoring of the paving works in the urban centre of Tabarca Island (Alicante).
The archaeological monitoring carried out in parallel to the paving works in the urban centre of the Isla de
Tabarca, has led to the discovery of archaeological remains in the urbanised area. Seven archaeological remains have been documented
dumping areas with materials from the Late Roman period (5th century), an 18th century pebble pavement on the
Plaça Gran and the remains of another to the west of the town centre, two sections of the wall's parapet and scattered materials.
