The Villa Petraria rubbish dump identified in Luis Chorro street (Petrer, Alicante).
During the construction works for the extension of the building of the municipal cultural facilities, it was found that when the earth was removed from the subsoil, cuttings appeared in the geological stratum with ceramic material of Roman chronology, which led to an archaeological intervention by the Dámaso Navarro Museum. The study has identified the remains of several rubbish dumps that would correspond to the Roman rubbish dump at Petraria, with a use focused on the period
Late Antique.
