Ceramics for a new kingdom. The ceramics of the feudal repopulation in the medieval Pobla de Ifach (Calp, Alicante).
This work culminates a study that we began in 2011 in which we presented the ceramic record relating to the foundational levels documented in the medieval Pobla de Ifach (Calp, Alicante), relating the productions discovered with the works of the locality of Paterna (Valencia) and establishing a formal connection with the so-called conquest ceramics that had been identified years earlier by researchers Rafael Azuar, Javier Martí and Josefa Pascual Pacheco in the Castell d'Ambra in Pego in 1999. The study presents what we have described as "conquest ceramics".
This record is documented by the stratigraphic sequence, the monetary finds and shows a direct formal link with these ceramics, which were standardised and distributed throughout the newly conquered territories of the new Kingdom of Valencia from the first half of the 14th century onwards.
