Archaeology, ethnobotany and peasantry: the use of wood in the Bronze Age settlement of Terlinques (Villena, Alicante)
The results of the anthracological study of the Bronze Age site of Terlinques (Villena, Alicante) are presented. The dominance of Pinus halepensis in relation to the other woody species revealed by the analysis, particularly Quercus ilex sp. Ilex, is discussed. The availability of raw material, selection mechanisms and wood use are also analysed.
