A possible production of the Portus Ilicitanus (Santa Pola, Alicante)
This is a form of Roman ceramic jug made from a paste with the characteristics of common ceramics and with the peculiarity that this form, until now, has only been found in coastal sites in the province of Alicante. The highest frequency of examples is found in Portus Ilicitanus (Santa Pola), and it is possible that it was produced in this area.
