The Peregrinus Project

The Peregrinus Project is a project involving six partners to create a virtual cultural journey through the sites of the Roman Empire. The project received funding from the EU Culture 2000 programme for the year 2002-3. The project has created 3D reconstructions and Quicktime views of the archaeological sites of its partners. These are available for local use at the partners' sites and for the general public on a multilingual site www.Peregrinus.org . This cultural journey could be extended in the future with the addition of new partners to the project from other areas of the Roman Empire.
