Revisiting the transition. The end of Late Antiquity at the site of Fontcalent (Alicante)

The site of Fontcalent, located at the foot of a mountain range of the same name a few kilometres from the city of Alicante, is one of the few sites identified as a rural settlement of Visigothic character in the southeast of the peninsula. Its particular material culture has been the subject of study for decades, but a current review of the site's collections deposited in the MARQ could provide a more detailed vision of its origins and chronology.
